Picture that evening. The sun has slipped below the horizon, there is something good in your glass and your favourite people around the table. Nobody wants to go inside — and for once, nobody has to. In the middle of the table burns a fire you lit with a single press, and one you put out just as easily when it is time for bed.

MANHATTAN is a square gas fire pit table, 91 × 91 × 41 cm, with a 13.2 kW burner and a body of GFRC concrete with a travertine imprint.

A breath of the south on your terrace

Travertine is the stone of southern terraces and Roman squares — warm, porous, alive to the touch. MANHATTAN carries it on its sides and its top: not as a print, but as a genuine imprint cast into the material, one you can feel under your fingers.

The pale Light Grey tone gives it lightness, so on the terrace it does not look like a heavy block of concrete but like a stone people naturally gather around. And thanks to the square shape, nobody sits at the head — everyone is equally close to the fire.

Looks like stone, but it isn't fragile

Touch it. Under your fingers it feels like stone, yet the table is made of GFRC — glass-fibre reinforced concrete. It is lighter than you would expect and stronger than it looks.

Fire at the snap of your fingers

No carrying wood, no waiting for it to catch. Press the button, the burner lights, and by the time you sit down the flame is already dancing.

Turn the knob down to a calm flicker, or all the way up when the evening gets cold. A standard 10–11 kg bottle lasts roughly 10–11 hours at full power — and several evenings with a gentler flame.

And if a gust of wind blows the flame out, the gas shuts off by itself.

Frequently asked questions

Will it fit on my terrace or balcony?

Leave about 1.2 metres of free space around the table from walls and anything flammable, and place the bottle just as far away. For a narrow balcony we will gladly recommend a slimmer model.

Which bottle do I need and how long does it last?

A standard propane or propane-butane bottle, usually 10 or 11 kg. At full power it burns for roughly 10–11 hours, much longer with a gentler flame.

Can I connect it myself?

Yes. Screw the supplied hose and regulator onto the bottle and you are ready to light it. You only need a gas fitter to convert it to natural gas.

What if the wind picks up?

If the wind blows the flame out, a safety device shuts off the gas supply by itself. For windy terraces we recommend the glass wind guard.

Can it stay outside in winter?

Yes, the material withstands frost. When you are not using the table, cover it with the supplied cover so no water gets into the burner.

Can I grill on it?

No. The fire pit is made for warmth and atmosphere — for food, stick to the grill.

Do you have natural gas at home?

Then MANHATTAN has one more option for you. It can be converted from a bottle to your household gas line, and from then on fire is a single movement — turn the knob. No carrying bottles from the petrol station, no running out halfway through the evening.

The conversion is done by a gas fitter — or we do it before shipping and the table arrives ready to connect. Then all you do is turn the knob whenever you feel like a fire.
