Picture that evening. The sun has slipped below the horizon, there is something good in your glass and your favourite people around the table. Nobody wants to go inside — and for once, nobody has to. In the middle of the table burns a fire you lit with a single press, and one you put out just as easily when it is time for bed.

BRUGGE is a square gas fire pit dining table, 118 × 118 × 75 cm, with a round 16 kW burner, a steel base and a porcelain top in a black marble décor.

A dining table without compromise

BRUGGE is a 75 cm high dining table — you sit at it as at any table, only with a fire burning in the middle. The porcelain top in a black marble décor takes plates, glasses and even spilt wine in its stride.

The bottle and the controls sit in the base behind a lockable door, so the table also suits restaurants and hotels: guests cannot light the fire without staff. When it is off, you put on the lid in the same décor and have the whole top for dining.

Real warmth

You feel all 16 kW on your palms, even on a cooler evening. The blankets can stay in the cupboard.

Porcelain on top, steel below

The top is porcelain in a black marble décor. It does not absorb liquids and resists scratches, heat and UV light, so you can serve food and drinks on it without worry.

It rests on a powder-coated steel base that hides the gas bottle and the controls behind a lockable door.

Fire at the snap of your fingers

No carrying wood, no waiting for it to catch. Press the button, the burner lights, and by the time you sit down the flame is already dancing.

Turn it down to a gentle flicker with the knob, or up to full when the evening gets cooler. An 8 kg bottle in the base lasts roughly seven hours at full power — and several evenings with a gentler flame.

And if a gust of wind blows the flame out, the gas shuts off by itself.

The base and the top arrive in two separate packages. Then you pour in the decorative glass, stand the bottle in the base and connect the regulator.

Frequently asked questions

Will it fit on my terrace or balcony?

The table is 118 × 118 cm and 75 cm high; leave about 1.2 metres of free space around it from walls and anything flammable. The bottle goes inside the base.

Which bottle do I need and how long does it last?

The base takes a bottle up to 50 cm tall — 5 or 8 kg, or a composite one. An 8 kg bottle burns for roughly seven hours at full power, and considerably longer with a gentler flame.

Can I connect it myself?

Yes. Stand the bottle in the base, screw the regulator and hose onto it and you are ready to light it.

What if the wind picks up?

If the wind blows the flame out, a safety device shuts off the gas supply by itself. The glass wind guard comes in the box.

Can it stay outside in winter?

Yes. The porcelain top handles frost, rain and sun without any trouble, and the base is powder-coated steel.

Can I grill on it?

No. The fire pit is made for warmth and atmosphere — for food, stick to the grill.

Is the fire pit lid included?

Yes. The lid is made of the same porcelain as the top and comes in the box. When the fire is off, it covers the fire pit and gives you a seamless surface.

Do you have natural gas at home?

Then BRUGGE has one more option for you. It can be converted from a bottle to your household gas line, and from then on fire is a single movement — turn the knob. No carrying bottles from the petrol station, no running out halfway through the evening.

The conversion is done by a gas fitter — or we do it before shipping and the table arrives ready to connect. Then all you do is turn the knob whenever you feel like a fire.
