It's late September, darkness falls quickly and the air has its first chill. Instead of heading indoors, you turn a knob. The flame comes to life, friends pull their chairs a little closer and the evening begins all over again.

BERGAMO is a square gas fire pit table, 107 × 107 × 35 cm, with a round 16 kW burner and a body of smooth GFRC concrete in matt black.

Fire at the heart of your terrace, in matt black

A 107 × 107 cm square is a centre the terrace arranges itself around. At BERGAMO everyone sits equally close to the fire, and the 16 kW burner warms even a cooler evening.

The smooth, matt black surface looks calm and modern. In the morning you put on the lid in the colour of the table and the fire pit becomes a coffee table; in the evening you take it off, and the terrace turns back into a place nobody wants to leave.

Looks tough — and is tougher still

Behind a surface that looks like solid stone is GFRC: concrete that gets its strength from glass fibres. That makes the table easier to handle while standing up to more.

Fire at the snap of your fingers

No carrying wood, no waiting for it to catch. Press the button, the burner lights, and by the time you sit down the flame is already dancing.

Turn the knob down to a calm flicker, or all the way up when the evening gets cold. A standard 10–11 kg bottle lasts roughly 9–10 hours at full power — and several evenings with a gentler flame.

And if a gust of wind blows the flame out, the gas shuts off by itself.

Frequently asked questions

Will it fit on my terrace or balcony?

Leave about 1.2 metres of free space around the table from walls and anything flammable, and place the bottle just as far away.

Which bottle do I need and how long does it last?

A standard propane or propane-butane bottle, usually 10 or 11 kg. At full power it burns for roughly 9–10 hours, much longer with a gentler flame.

Can I connect it myself?

Yes. Screw the supplied hose and regulator onto the bottle and you are ready to light it. You only need a gas fitter to convert it to natural gas.

What if the wind picks up?

If the wind blows the flame out, a safety device shuts off the gas supply by itself. For windy terraces we recommend the glass wind guard.

Can it stay outside in winter?

Yes, the material withstands frost. When you are not using the table, put the supplied cover over it.

Can I grill on it?

No. The fire pit is made for warmth and atmosphere — for food, stick to the grill.

Is the fire pit lid included?

Yes. A lid in the colour of the table comes in the box; when the fire is off, you cover the fire pit with it and have a seamless tabletop.

Do you have natural gas at home?

For homes with a natural gas supply there is an even more convenient option: converting it to your household line. Then the fire never runs out halfway through the evening.
