METROPOLIS Dark Grey is a rectangular table with a gas fire pit at one end, 142 × 81 × 36 cm, with a 13.2 kW burner and a body of GFRC concrete with a dark travertine imprint.

Dark grey changes the table's character. The travertine texture steps back into the shadows and the pure form comes forward — calm, solid, a little formal. Next to dark sofas, anthracite tiles or black window frames, it all reads as one.

The layout stays the one people choose METROPOLIS for: fire at one end, a free top at the other. Warm up here, serve there — and the evening doesn't have to end when the meal does.

Touch it. Under your fingers it feels like stone, yet the table is made of GFRC — glass-fibre reinforced concrete. It is lighter than you would expect and stronger than it looks.

Fire at the snap of your fingers

No carrying wood, no waiting for it to catch. Press the button, the burner lights, and by the time you sit down the flame is already dancing.

Turn the knob down to a calm flicker, or all the way up when the evening gets cold. A standard 10–11 kg bottle lasts roughly 10–11 hours at full power — and several evenings with a gentler flame.

And if a gust of wind blows the flame out, the gas shuts off by itself.

Frequently asked questions

Will it fit on my terrace or balcony?

Leave about 1.2 metres of free space around the table from walls and anything flammable, and place the bottle just as far away.

Which bottle do I need and how long does it last?

A standard propane or propane-butane bottle, usually 10 or 11 kg. At full power it burns for roughly 10–11 hours, much longer with a gentler flame.

Can I connect it myself?

Yes. Screw the supplied hose and regulator onto the bottle and you are ready to light it. You only need a gas fitter to convert it to natural gas.

What if the wind picks up?

If the wind blows the flame out, a safety device shuts off the gas supply by itself. For windy terraces we recommend the glass wind guard.

Can it stay outside in winter?

Yes, the material withstands frost. When you are not using the table, put the supplied cover over it.

Can I grill on it?

No. The fire pit is made for warmth and atmosphere — for food, stick to the grill.

Can we eat at it too?

Yes, on the free part of the top. The burner sits at one end, so plates and glasses have room away from the flame.

Do you have natural gas at home?

Then METROPOLIS has one more option for you. It can be converted from a bottle to your household gas line, and from then on fire is a single movement — turn the knob. No carrying bottles from the petrol station, no running out halfway through the evening.

The conversion is done by a gas fitter — or we do it before shipping and the table arrives ready to connect. Then all you do is turn the knob whenever you feel like a fire.
