Picture that evening. The sun has slipped below the horizon, there is something good in your glass and your favourite people all around. Nobody wants to go inside — and for once, nobody has to. In the middle burns a fire you lit with a single press, and one you put out just as easily when it is time for bed.
LUNAR BOWL is a round fire pit, 107 cm in diameter and 40 cm high, with a round 13.2 kW burner and a body of smooth GFRC concrete.
King of the designer terrace
Wherever LUNAR BOWL stands, everything else adapts to it. Look at it from above: a perfect circle with a crater of lava stones in the middle. The smooth concrete has a calm, soft grey tone — like the surface of the Moon on a clear night.
A circle does something curious to people. Nobody sits off to the side, nobody is further away. The chairs arrange themselves around it, and all the attention goes to the fire and the people beside it.

Real warmth
You feel all 13.2 kW on your palms, even on a cooler evening. The blankets can stay in the cupboard.
The terrace in October
While everyone else is packing away the cushions, you are still sitting outside.
Clean fire
No smoke in your eyes, no sparks on the floor, no ash in the morning.
Smooth as a river stone
Run your hand over it — the surface is smooth and pleasant to the touch. Underneath is GFRC: concrete that gets its strength from glass fibres. That makes the fire pit easier to handle while standing up to more.
Sun, frost and rain won't harm it — several seasons from now it will look just as it does today. How GFRC differs from ordinary concrete

Press and sit down
Ignition is electronic: press the button and within seconds the round burner is alight.
You adjust the flame height smoothly with the knob, from a quiet flicker to a full blaze. At full power a 10–11 kg bottle lasts about 10–11 hours.
Safety is handled by a flame failure device — if the fire goes out, the gas supply is cut off.

What's in the box
- Lava stones to cover the burner
- Protective fabric cover for the whole fire pit
- Gas regulator and supply hose

Frequently asked questions
Will it fit on my terrace or balcony?
Leave about 1.2 metres of free space around the fire pit from walls and anything flammable, and place the bottle just as far away.
Which bottle do I need and how long does it last?
A standard propane or propane-butane bottle, usually 10 or 11 kg. At full power it burns for roughly 10–11 hours, much longer with a gentler flame.
Can I connect it myself?
Yes. The hose and regulator are already attached to the fire pit — screw the regulator onto the bottle and you are ready to light it.
What if the wind picks up?
If the wind blows the flame out, a safety device shuts off the gas supply by itself. For windy terraces we recommend the glass wind guard.
Can it stay outside in winter?
Yes, the material withstands frost. When you are not using the fire pit, put the supplied cover over it.
Can I grill on it?
No. The fire pit is made for warmth and atmosphere — for food, stick to the grill.
How to start the fire pit

Do you have natural gas at home?
Then LUNAR BOWL has one more option for you. It can be converted from a bottle to your household gas line, and from then on fire is a single movement — turn the knob. No carrying bottles from the petrol station, no running out halfway through the evening.
And what does it cost? We did the maths: What an evening by the fire costs
The conversion is done by a gas fitter — or we do it before shipping and the fire pit arrives ready to connect. Then all you do is turn the knob whenever you feel like a fire.
