The best conversations don't start at a table full of food, but later — once it's dark and nobody is in a hurry. Press a button and there is warmth and light in the middle of the terrace, the kind that keeps you outside longer than you planned.
ATHENS is a rectangular gas fire pit table, 157.5 × 76 × 36.5 cm, with an elongated 16 kW burner, a GFRC concrete body and a porcelain top in a white marble décor.
White marble, fire and concrete – an indestructible combination
ATHENS brings two things together: a body of smooth GFRC concrete and a porcelain top in a white marble décor with fine grey veining. On the terrace it looks clean and bright, like a piece of ancient art.
The fire pit lid is made of the same porcelain as the top and comes in the box. When the fire is off, you put it on and the marble surface is seamless; when you want the fire, you slide the lid into the space under the top.

Warmth, not just a view
A 16 kW burner is not there for decoration. It is real radiant heat — the kind that keeps you from reaching for a blanket.
A season that doesn't end in September
The evenings turn cooler, yet the terrace stays full. And in spring you open it a month earlier than the neighbours.
A table even when it isn't lit
The lid in the same décor as the top comes in the box; put it on and you have a seamless marble surface.
Porcelain on top, concrete below
The top is porcelain in a white marble décor. Porcelain resists scratches, heat and UV light, so the marble pattern stays crisp even after years in the sun.
The body is smooth GFRC — glass-fibre reinforced concrete. It looks solid, yet it is lighter and tougher than ordinary concrete. How GFRC differs from ordinary concrete

A fire that does what it's told
One press and the burner lights. No kindling, no blowing on embers.
Just want a quiet flame for atmosphere? Turn it down. Getting chilly? Turn it all the way up. A single 10–11 kg bottle lasts roughly 9–10 hours at full power.
If the wind blows the flame out, a safety device shuts off the gas by itself.

What's in the box
- Fire pit lid in the same décor as the top
- Decorative fire glass to cover the burner
- Protective fabric cover for the whole table
- Gas regulator and 3 m supply hose
- AAA battery for the ignition
- Concrete repair compound
- User manual
The table arrives assembled. Pour in the decorative glass, connect the regulator to the bottle — and your first evening by the fire can be tonight.

Frequently asked questions
Will it fit on my terrace or balcony?
Leave about 1.2 metres of free space around the table from walls and anything flammable, and place the bottle just as far away.
Which bottle do I need and how long does it last?
A standard propane or propane-butane bottle, usually 10 or 11 kg. At full power it burns for roughly 9–10 hours, much longer with a gentler flame.
Can I connect it myself?
Yes. Screw the supplied hose and regulator onto the bottle and you are ready to light it. You only need a gas fitter to convert it to natural gas.
What if the wind picks up?
If the wind blows the flame out, a safety device shuts off the gas supply by itself. For windy terraces we recommend the glass wind guard.
Can it stay outside in winter?
Yes. Porcelain handles frost, rain and sun without any trouble. When you are not using the table, put the supplied cover over it.
Can I grill on it?
No. The fire pit is made for warmth and atmosphere — for food, stick to the grill.
Is the fire pit lid included?
Yes. The lid is made of the same porcelain as the top and comes in the box. When the fire is off, it covers the fire pit; when the fire is on, you slide it into the space under the top.
How to start the fire pit

Do you have natural gas at home?
Then ATHENS has one more option for you. It can be converted from a bottle to your household gas line, and from then on fire is a single movement — turn the knob. No carrying bottles from the petrol station, no running out halfway through the evening.
And what does it cost? We did the maths: What an evening by the fire costs
The conversion is done by a gas fitter — or we do it before shipping and the table arrives ready to connect. Then all you do is turn the knob whenever you feel like a fire.
