A gas bottle belongs with every fire pit, yet it is exactly what can spoil the look of the whole terrace. This round cover hides it inside a GFRC concrete body with a smooth finish in Dark Grey. And on top you gain a spot for a glass, a book or a vase.

A designer cover hides the bottle

Picture a summer evening: the fire is burning, the table is laid and nothing catches the eye in the wrong way. No orange bottle at your guests' feet, no hardware on show. Simply place the cover over the bottle and a necessity becomes another piece of garden furniture that matches your fire pit. Lead the hose out through the cut-out along the bottom edge, which also ventilates the space around the bottle.

Place the cover about 1.2 metres from the fire pit; the standard 3-metre hose is long enough, and we can supply a longer one on request. With ELEMENTI tables the hose can even run through the hollow inside of the table, so it is barely visible.

The clean lines of smooth concrete

Smooth, unpatterned concrete looks calm and modern – it does not compete with the fire or the furniture, it simply rounds off the whole. The round shape is simple and timeless, so it suits a minimalist lounge just as well as a garden full of greenery. Each piece is cast by hand in a mould, so every cover is a small original.

The Dark Grey tone goes with the dark grey ELEMENTI fire pits, so next to them the cover does not look like an extra, but like part of one set.

Concrete that can take a lot

The body is glass-fibre reinforced concrete (GFRC). The fibres give it strength, so the walls can be thinner and the cover lighter than it would be in ordinary concrete – yet it still weighs 17.5 kg and the wind will not knock it over. The material withstands frost, rain and UV light, so the cover can stay outside all year.

The cover is a single piece without a lid: to change the bottle, simply lift it off and set it aside. To help the surface resist stains for longer, treat it with AKEMI Nano Effect.
