It's late September, darkness falls quickly and the air has its first chill. Instead of heading indoors, you turn a knob. The flame comes to life, friends pull their chairs a little closer and the evening begins all over again.

YORK is a round gas fire bowl, Ø 68 × 36 cm, with a round 11.7 kW burner and a GFRC concrete body in black with a stone texture.

A small designer fire pit

A circle of people, the quiet of the evening and the warmth of a fire in the middle — the oldest ritual there is, just without the wood and smoke. YORK is a modern take on the campfire for your garden or terrace.

It has the shape of a classic fire bowl: no sharp edges, only smooth, rounded lines that sit naturally in their surroundings. Compact enough for a smaller terrace, striking enough to become its centre.

The look of stone, the lightness of GFRC

The black surface has a texture like a stone imprint — modern and timeless at once. The body is handmade from GFRC, concrete reinforced with glass fibres.

It is much lighter than ordinary concrete, yet strong and resistant to rain, sun and frost. How GFRC differs from ordinary concrete

Fire at the snap of your fingers

No carrying wood, no waiting for it to catch. Press the button, the burner lights, and by the time you sit down the flame is already dancing.

Turn the knob down to a calm flicker, or all the way up when the evening gets cold. A standard 10–11 kg bottle lasts roughly 12–13 hours at full power — and several evenings with a gentler flame.

And if a gust of wind blows the flame out, the gas shuts off by itself.

The fire pit arrives assembled with the hose and regulator already attached. Pour in the lava stones, screw the regulator onto the bottle — and your first evening by the fire can be tonight.

What goes with it

A black cover (up to 7.5 kg, or XL up to 11 kg) hides the bottle next to the fire pit and doubles as a side table. You can swap the lava stones from the box for decorative fire glass or for large rounded PEBBLES lava stones.

Frequently asked questions

Will it fit on my terrace or balcony?

Leave about 1.2 metres of free space around the fire pit from walls and anything flammable, and place the bottle just as far away.

Which bottle do I need and how long does it last?

A standard propane or propane-butane bottle, usually 10 or 11 kg. At full power it burns for roughly 12–13 hours, much longer with a gentler flame.

Can I connect it myself?

Yes. The hose and regulator are already attached to the fire pit — screw the regulator onto the bottle and you are ready to light it.

What if the wind picks up?

If the wind blows the flame out, a safety device shuts off the gas supply by itself. In a windy spot, give the fire pit the most sheltered corner you have.

Can it stay outside in winter?

Yes, the material withstands frost. When you are not using the fire pit, put the supplied cover over it.

Can I grill on it?

No. The fire pit is made for warmth and atmosphere — for food, stick to the grill.
