It's late September, darkness falls quickly and the air has its first chill. Instead of heading indoors, you turn a knob. The flame comes to life, friends pull their chairs a little closer and the evening begins all over again.

LAVA TUBE is a cylindrical gas fire pit, Ø 45 × 70 cm, with a round 11.7 kW burner, a GFRC concrete body with a travertine texture and room for a bottle of up to 8 kg right inside.

A fire pit for small spaces

Sometimes you don't want a table or a large fire pit in the middle of the terrace. You just want a flame that sets the mood. LAVA TUBE is a 45 cm column of fire: put it on a smaller terrace, by the entrance to your home or restaurant, or next to your seating.

A gas bottle of up to 8 kg hides right inside its body. No hoses across the floor, no cover standing next to it — just a clean cylinder with fire on top.

A clean shape, a raw surface

Run your hand over it. The body is GFRC concrete in a deep black with the texture of natural travertine — a modern shape with an earthy surface.

Glass fibres give the concrete its strength, so the fire pit is lighter than you would expect from concrete and stands up to rain, sun and frost. How GFRC differs from ordinary concrete

Fire at the snap of your fingers

No carrying wood, no waiting for it to catch. Press the button, the burner lights, and by the time you sit down the flame is already dancing.

Turn it down to a gentle flicker with the knob, or up to full when the evening gets cooler. An 8 kg bottle inside lasts roughly 9–10 hours at full power — and several evenings with a gentler flame.

And if a gust of wind blows the flame out, the gas shuts off by itself.

Frequently asked questions

Will it fit on my terrace or balcony?

The fire pit is 45 cm across and 70 cm high; leave about 1.2 metres of free space around it from walls and anything flammable. The bottle goes inside, so nothing stands next to it.

Which bottle do I need and how long does it last?

The body takes a bottle of up to 8 kg and 52 cm tall. An 8 kg bottle burns for roughly 9–10 hours at full power, and considerably longer with a gentler flame.

Can I connect it myself?

Yes. The hose and regulator are already attached to the fire pit. Stand the bottle inside, screw the regulator onto it and you are ready to light it.

What if the wind picks up?

If the wind blows the flame out, a safety device shuts off the gas supply by itself. In a windy spot, give the fire pit the most sheltered corner you have.

Can it stay outside in winter?

Yes, the material withstands frost. When you are not using the fire pit, put the supplied cover over it.

Can I grill on it?

No. The fire pit is made for warmth and atmosphere — for food, stick to the grill.
