Picture that evening. The sun has slipped below the horizon, there is something good in your glass and your favourite people around the table. Nobody wants to go inside — and for once, nobody has to. In the middle of the table burns a fire you lit with a single press, and one you put out just as easily when it is time for bed.
BIRMINGHAM is a square gas fire pit dining table, 122 × 122 × 76 cm, with a round 13.2 kW burner, a GFRC concrete body and the bottle hidden in the base.
A dining table with fire in the middle
BIRMINGHAM is a proper dining table, 76 cm high — you sit at it on chairs as at any table, only with a fire burning in the middle. Dinner can easily stretch late into the evening.
The gas bottle hides right inside the base, so there are no hoses or bottles around the table. When the fire is off, you cover it with the steel lid, available separately, and have the whole top for serving.

Warmth for the whole table
The 13.2 kW burner warms the hands and faces of everyone around it, not just whoever sits closest.
More evenings a year
Spring starts earlier and autumn ends later; you get months more out of your terrace.
Just press a button
The fire is up in a few seconds, and you put it out just as quickly.
A solid table that doesn't mind the weather
It isn't fragile stone but GFRC — glass-fibre reinforced concrete. It looks solid, yet it is lighter and tougher than ordinary concrete.
It can spend the winter outside under its protective cover — in spring, you simply take the cover off. The colour won't fade and the surface won't crack. How GFRC differs from ordinary concrete

Fire at the snap of your fingers
No carrying wood, no waiting for it to catch. Press the button, the burner lights, and by the time you sit down the flame is already dancing.
Turn it down to a gentle flicker with the knob, or up to full when the evening gets cooler. An 8 kg bottle hidden in the base lasts roughly eight hours at full power — and several evenings with a gentler flame.
And if a gust of wind blows the flame out, the gas shuts off by itself.

What's in the box
- Lava stones to cover the burner
- Protective fabric cover for the whole table
- Gas regulator and supply hose
- AAA battery for the ignition
- Concrete repair compound
- User manual
The base and the top arrive in two separate packages. Then you pour in the lava stones, put the bottle into the base and connect the regulator.

Frequently asked questions
Will it fit on my terrace or balcony?
The table is 122 × 122 cm; leave about 1.2 metres of free space around it from walls and anything flammable. The bottle hides right inside the base.
Which bottle do I need and how long does it last?
The base takes a 5 or 8 kg bottle up to 50 cm tall. An 8 kg bottle burns for roughly eight hours at full power, and considerably longer with a gentler flame.
Can I connect it myself?
Yes. Screw the supplied hose and regulator onto the bottle and you are ready to light it. You only need a gas fitter to convert it to natural gas.
What if the wind picks up?
If the wind blows the flame out, a safety device shuts off the gas supply by itself. For windy terraces we recommend the glass wind guard.
Can it stay outside in winter?
Yes, the material withstands frost. When you are not using the table, put the supplied cover over it.
Can I grill on it?
No. The fire pit is made for warmth and atmosphere — for food, stick to the grill.
How to start the fire pit

Do you have natural gas at home?
If your house has a gas supply, this table can be connected to it. No bottles, no lugging them home from the petrol station — the fire is there whenever you feel like it.
And what does it cost? We did the maths: What an evening by the fire costs
The conversion is done by a gas fitter — or we do it before shipping and the table arrives ready to connect. Then all you do is turn the knob whenever you feel like a fire.
