It's late September, darkness falls quickly and the air has its first chill. Instead of heading indoors, you turn a knob. The flame comes to life, friends pull their chairs a little closer and the evening begins all over again.

KÖLN is a square gas fire pit bar table, 100 × 100 × 106 cm, with a round 11.7 kW burner, a steel base and a porcelain top in a black marble décor.

A bar table without compromise

KÖLN is a 106 cm high bar table: guests stand at it or sit on bar stools with the fire right in front of them. The porcelain top in a black marble décor has room for glasses and small bites.

A bottle of up to 11 kg hides in the base and the controls sit behind a lockable door — ideal for bars, hotels and restaurants, where guests cannot light the fire without staff. It works just as well on a terrace at home.

Warmth, not just a view

A 11.7 kW burner is not there for decoration. It is real radiant heat — the kind that keeps you from reaching for a blanket.

A season that doesn't end in September

The evenings turn cooler, yet the terrace stays full. And in spring you open it a month earlier than the neighbours.

A table even when it isn't lit

The lid in the same décor as the top comes in the box; put it on and you have a seamless surface.

Porcelain on top, steel below

The top is porcelain in a black marble décor. It does not absorb liquids and resists scratches, heat and UV light, so you can serve food and drinks on it without worry.

It rests on a powder-coated steel base that hides the gas bottle and the controls behind a lockable door.

Press and sit down

Ignition is electronic: press the button and within seconds it's alight.

Turn it down to a gentle flicker with the knob, or up to full when the evening gets cooler. A 10–11 kg bottle in the base lasts roughly 12–13 hours at full power.

Safety is handled by a flame failure device — if the fire goes out, the gas supply is cut off.

The base and the top arrive in two separate packages. Then you pour in the decorative glass, stand the bottle in the base and connect the regulator.

Frequently asked questions

Will it fit on my terrace or balcony?

The table is 100 × 100 cm and 106 cm high; leave about 1.2 metres of free space around it from walls and anything flammable. The bottle goes inside the base.

Which bottle do I need and how long does it last?

The base takes a standard propane or propane-butane bottle up to 11 kg and 62 cm tall. At full power it burns for roughly 12–13 hours, and considerably longer with a gentler flame.

Can I connect it myself?

Yes. Stand the bottle in the base, screw the regulator and hose onto it and you are ready to light it.

What if the wind picks up?

If the wind blows the flame out, a safety device shuts off the gas supply by itself. The glass wind guard comes in the box.

Can it stay outside in winter?

Yes. The porcelain top handles frost, rain and sun without any trouble, and the base is powder-coated steel.

Can I grill on it?

No. The fire pit is made for warmth and atmosphere — for food, stick to the grill.

Is the fire pit lid included?

Yes. The lid is made of the same porcelain as the top and comes in the box. When the fire is off, it covers the fire pit and gives you a seamless surface.
